Elections 2019 - The Frenzy

So, as all Indians might be knowing that 2019 elections are coming nearer day by day and every single humanity is talking about it. So let's see and maybe assume what's going to be there in Prime Ministerial Elections 2019 that everyone's crazy about. Well, let's hop right in for an amazing precis of Elections 2019. The very elections will be conducted from 11th to 19th of May, followed by the 23rd of May, on which the climax, yes, the counting of the votes would be done. And of course, who's not excited for the result? Well, I'm filled with exuberance and curiosity to see who the next leader of our country will be. These elections are not "anti-incumbency" this means that our former Prime Minister can stand in the elections and if people like, will be re-elected as the Prime Minister. The election will be conducted in seven phases. A video giving information about the 6th phase is linked below.
Let's look at the counterparts who are in the middle of the battle of this ginormous title, "Prime Minister." The main candidates of the elections are:-
a) Narendra Modi, Party - BJP
b) Sushma Swaraj, Party - BJP
c) Rahul Gandhi, Party - INC
d) Mamata Banerjee, Party - INC

After going through the candidates, a question might have struck your mind and that is "Can the two women who are the main candidates be elected as the next Prime Minister?"
Yes, the women participation in the elections has been increasing at a whistle-stop rate over the past few years. Being women, they usually choose to elect a woman as their next representative. So there is a profusion of chance that either of these two powerful women COULD win.

Ms. Sushma Swaraj

Ms. Mamata Banerjee

Now, we might also think of another question, at least for me, yes, this question did strike my mind as soon as I heard of the Elections 2019 and that was "Whose participation will be more? the urban population or the rural?" Well, you will be nonplussed to know that rural turnout is more than the urban turnout. The reason for this is not the more population of the rural areas but the awareness and vote turnout in the rural areas has been growing at a haphazard rate over the past few years. Furthermore, this can be a concerning factor for the Bhartiya Janta Party which has a strong base in the urban areas than the rural ones. Probably, this is why the number of rallies in the rural areas has been increasing gradually which, to me, is quite surprising. Now, let us look at the two main candidates from the male section.

 Mr.  Narendra Modi

Mr. Rahul Gandhi

As we have already discussed the point of urban and rural participation, BJP has comparatively less support from the rural sector. And also, Mr. Narendra Modi, our current Prime Minister has not done many improvements in the urban sector except launching some programmes, he has been sidelining the rural areas and keeping at the cynosure, the urban sector. On the other hand, I don't see any brilliancy in Mr. Rahul Gandhi either, which makes him capable of becoming a Prime Minister. But needless to say, the dilemma of electing has become one of the greatest confusions nowadays. Who should we cast the vote in favour of? Before considering any political factors and publicity, we should consider who can make more improvements in our country without any ulterior motive.

In the end, I hope that the results of the Elections 2019 make everyone delighted.
Cheers!
